Event Production

Events are complex and can be perplexing. If you need assistance, my involvement can be as simple as helping plan your event from the sidelines or all the way up to directing and executing on the day of.

Life Celebrations

Events for remembering friends and loved ones who have passed can be described in many different ways: Memorial, Celebration of Life, or Remembrance.

What makes them special is empathy and enabling shared sympathy with all attending. My experience working at Darling & Fischer Family Mortuaries was invaluable in helping others celebrate the lives of one who passed.

Often these events honoring loved ones have a ceremony followed by a reception. I can provide audio support, music, microphones, a podium, emcee work if requested and guidance from planning through the event itself. Each person honored and their family has a unique story and I strive to help share their story in a way which best represents their life.

Cooking events

If you never had a Home Economics Class in Middle or High School, chances are your cooking skills are minimal. Most people only learn how to cook from their parents at home or by just trial and error.

The good news is that cooking instruction can be so much fun that it has become an entertainment event itself. A chef with good audience skills can bring the excitement of a TV cooking show to a private or corporate event.  The icing on the cake is that the attendees also get to enjoy the fruits of their labor and walk away with some kitchen tricks to try on their own. Whether it’s self improvement or just the desire to up your skills as a party host, nothing beats a live culinary demonstration or a hands-on workshop for fun and learning. I can do classes that are hands-on, full demonstration or a combination of both. I am currently working with the Goomi Group doing live and streamed on-site culinary wellness demonstrations for their corporate clients.

Fundraising

One of the most popular ways to raise money is with oral and silent auction events. These evenings are often the single biggest revenue source for schools, charity organizations, churches and the like. I've done so many I could probably step up and be the auctioneer. Most of the time I've been the emcee supporting all of the activities to boost the bidding. I have many ideas to share with organizations to maximize their proceeds. I believe the key is an outside-the-box perspective to get those paddles up. The popularity of fundraisers makes them common but if the Experience is unique, then attendance and bidding will soar. Use some imagination and make yours a Funraising.
